New Kia EV6 Launched at Rs 65.90 Lakh in India

Kia India has officially revealed the pricing for the latest EV6, setting it at Rs 65.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration introduces 15 upgrades over its predecessor, showcasing a bolder and more dynamic front-end design influenced by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. This includes a newly integrated Star Map Graphic Connected DRL with Sequential Indicators, complemented by a GT-Line front bumper for a sportier aesthetic. Another notable change is the addition of newly shaped triangular headlights. The lower grille now features a refined trapezoidal geometric pattern, adding to the car’s modern aesthetic. At the rear, the signature full-width curved taillights maintain their overall shape, but the LED lighting elements have been refreshed for a more contemporary look. Additionally, the rear bumper has been redesigned, further refining the vehicle’s overall styling. The vehicle also sports 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels with a glossy finish.

Coming to colour options, the car is available in five shades: Snow-White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red & Yacht Blue Matte.
New Kia EV6: Battery Pack and Power Figures
The EV6 now features a larger 84kWh battery, an upgrade from the previous 77.4kWh capacity, and is underpinned by the cutting-edge E-GMP platform. This highly efficient battery pack supplies power to a dual-motor setup, generating an impressive 321bhp of maximum power and 605Nm of peak torque while utilising an all-wheel-drive system (AWD). On a full charge, the EV6 is capable of covering up to 650 km.

Moreover, the model benefits from significantly improved charging speeds, with a 350kW fast charger capable of boosting the battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, enhancing convenience and reducing downtime.
New Kia EV6: Feature Suite

The SUV’s cabin has been refined with a host of modern upgrades, including a 12.3-inch sleek curved display, a new double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology, and an advanced fingerprint scanner for seamless keyless access. The infotainment system now integrates augmented reality navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an enhanced 12-inch heads-up display, and over-the-air (OTA) updates extending beyond just navigation. Additionally, a digital rear-view mirror further elevates convenience.

On the safety front, the EV6 comes well-equipped with front, rear, and side parking sensors, seven airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, and a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite. This includes high-tech features such as adaptive cruise control, front collision avoidance, and lane-keeping assist for enhanced driver assistance.
